About
Hannah Bernadette is an Australian visual artist based on Awabakal Country (Newcastle), creating large-scale abstract paintings that explore the relationship between the body, emotion and the natural world.
With a background in physiotherapy, Hannah’s practice is informed by a deep curiosity for the body — its sensations, memory and the ways we experience the world around us.
Working intuitively with oil, acrylic, charcoal and oil pastel, her paintings are built through layers of movement, colour and gesture. Each work becomes a record of feeling, inviting the viewer to slow down, reconnect and notice what lies beneath the surface.
